Ingredients

  • 25-30 perilla leaves

seasoning sauce

  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 2 tbsp carrot shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 chili pepper sliced
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • mix all ingredients for the seasoning sauce together
  • place a single perilla leaf at the bottom of an airtight container
  • pour a spoonful of the sauce over the leaf
  • place two perilla leaves stacked on top and pour another spoonful of sauce over the leaves
  • repeat this process until all leaves are used up
  • put the lid on and keep the container at room temperature for one day, then transfer to the fridge
  • enjoy with hot rice
